Woolworths Ormeau Marketplace continues to support the community with their dedicated Woolworths Community Hour from 7:00am – 8:00am for the following groups:
• Seniors and People with a Disability – Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
• *NEW* Emergency Services & Healthcare Workers – Tuesday & Thursday.

Current trading hours are Monday through Saturday 8:00am – 9:00pm and Sundays 9:00am till 6:00pm.

As we navigate Coronavirus together, Ormeau Marketplace remains open and trading, so our Retailers can continue to provide our community with essential products and services.

What are we doing?

Ormeau Marketplace would like to assure our customers, we are continuing to monitor the evolving situation, and are responding cautiously, with a commitment to provide a safe and healthy environment for you.

As such, and in accordance with advice from relevant health authorities, we have implemented a range of precautionary actions designed to help mitigate the spread of the virus within our Centre.

We have strengthened our already stringent cleaning processes, placing a heightened focus on sanitising ‘high-touch points’, with high-grade disinfectant and reintroduced paper towels to all our amenities.

We have placed Australian Government-issued information posters, which provide crucial information on how to ‘stop the spread of COVID-19’ in our bathrooms for our community to reference.

We will continue to closely monitor updates and advice from the relevant health authorities and are prepared to act as the situation develops. It goes without saying that our community’s health and wellbeing comes first as we navigate this situation together.

We will continue to provide updates where possible for Store changes as they evolve, however please visit individual Store websites and Facebook pages for updates on trading hours and additional services.

Our Retailers are working hard to maintain stock levels as best as they can, and we thank you for your patience and support of them.

What can you do?

Please continue to support your local Retailers at Ormeau Marketplace and our Community.

We encourage everyone to be extra vigilant with personal hygiene during this time, including washing hands regularly and avoiding contact with others if unwell.
When shopping you may wish to use a sanitiser wipe supplied by the Supermarkets to wipe down your trolley before and after use. Paying with a debit or credit card also means you do not need to exchange cash.
We will continue to be guided as directed by Government organisations in our response to COVID-19 and will update our valued customers. Thank you for your continued support during this difficult time.
